Q1: When and where is the FABACONZ event taking place?
A1:The FABACONZ event will be held from August 16th to 18th, 2024, at Bella Rakha, a tranquil retreat set in 32 acres of park-like grounds and native bush.
The address is 581 West Coast Rd, Oratia 0604, just a 25-minute commute from Auckland CBD.
Q2: What is included in the Full Convention Pass?
A2: The Full Convention Pass offers access to the entire weekend of creativity, including eight sessions with a choice of three classes each, Morning Tea, Lunch, Afternoon Tea, Dinner, Friday Night Paint Jam, and Saturday's Famous Paint Olympics. Please note that the two Post classes on Sunday are not included.
Q3: What is included in the Saturday Day Pass?
A3:The Saturday Day Pass grants access to Saturday's activities, including registration starting at 8:30 am, five sessions with a choice of three classes each, Morning Tea, Lunch, Afternoon Tea, Dinner, and the Famous Paint Olympics in the evening.
Q4: How do I purchase tickets for the FABACONZ event?

A5:Class selection can be made on-site during the event. We offer a variety of classes during each session to cater to your preferences and skill level. We will ensure that we post the timetable well in advance so you can choose your options without haste.

Q6: What are the accommodation options at Bella Rakha?
A6:Bella Rakha offers two accommodation buildings: Accommodation Building 1 with twin share and single rooms, and the Lodge with a variety of room options, including queen and single rooms.
Q7: What is included in the accommodation package?
A7:The accommodation package includes a 2-night stay, bed linen, and a delicious breakfast served on both Saturday and Sunday mornings.
Q8: Can I request specific roommates for the accommodation?
A8:Yes, closer to the event date, we will inquire about your preferred roommates. If you opt for the triple share room, it's important that you and your two companions purchase passes together to secure your space.
Q9: How do I book accommodation at Bella Rakha?
A9:To reserve your accommodation, please visit www.bodyfx.co.nz and select your preferred accommodation type and room sharing option.
Q10: What are the rates for accommodation options?
A10:The rates vary depending on your choice:
Twin Share: $195 per person
Triple Share: $195 per person
Single Room: $210 per person
Queen Room (for 2 people sharing): $390 for the room
Q11: Are the Post-Convention Classes included in the Full Convention Pass?
A11: No, the Post-Convention Classes are not included in the Full Convention Pass. These classes offer a chance to engage in more intense workshops with our esteemed international facilitators. You will have the opportunity to purchase these classes at the convention if you wish to participate in them. Stay tuned for details on our international facilitators and their specialised workshops!
Q12: Can I pay in partial payments?
A12: Absolutely! We understand that managing expenses can be challenging, which is why we offer flexible payment options. You can choose between Afterpay and Layby on our website for your convenience. Here's how they work:
- Layby: Pay one week upfront, followed by five weekly payments afterward.
- Afterpay: No upfront payment required. Your first payment is due two weeks after purchase, followed by three additional fortnightly payments.
Additionally, if you opt for Afterpay, you have the flexibility to make partial payments towards your subsequent fortnightly installments. For example, for the $380 Full Convention pass, this breaks down to $47.50 per week with Afterpay and $63.33 per week with Layby.
Q13: How can we get there from the airport?
A13: We will be doing 2-3 runs on the Friday and back again on the Sunday. We will need you to let us know what time you are flying in and we will then make times that suit a group and arrange a pick up time and location. You will need to purchase the Airport Transfer ticket and place your time of arrival in the notes section. If you do not know your time of arrival on purchase please email donna@bodyfx.co.nz once you do.
