Ben Nye Dark Blood is a very high quality fake blood with a highly realistic aged colour. It has been used in many feature films & television shows exclusively.
The realistic qualities in the Ben Nye blood include vivid colouring and medium flowing viscosity; all of which add to the reason Ben Nye's Dark Blood is so hugely popular in professional uses. Blood by Ben Nye has a delightful peppermint flavour and is safe to use in the mouth.
Ben Nye Dark Blood is the same formula as Ben Nye Stage Blood, but with an oxidised for an older, stale appearance best suited for zombies or those who aren't quite dead yet.
Washes from most fabrics and surfaces, but may stain some fabrics and surfaces. It is highly recommended to perform a patch test prior to use near precious materials.

For a beginner in special effects makeup, this really made my cut come to life and gave it much more detail/depth. I loved the consistency, colour and a small amount goes a long way. Great product!
