Ben Nye's Nose & Scar Wax is pliable, yet firm and manipulates the appearance of real skin to imitate all sorts of fleshly distortions! Feign a broken nose, a witch's chin or bullet holes with this moldable yet firm medium. Wax is translucent to emulate real skin!
Also ideal for gory applications such as lacerations, wounds, bullet holes and more. We recommend first applying a small amount of adhesive (such as spIrit gum) before applying the wax for extra adhesion for longer requirements or you can seal off your creation with FX Liquid Latex for supreme durability.
Nose & Scar Wax has a translucent finish to resemble real skin and available in 2 skin tones to suite most complexions. See Light Brown Wax here
May Contain (+/-): CI No. 77891, 77947 (Titanium Dioxide, Zinc Oxide,) Parfum Free.
My 11 year old daughter is crazy about special effects make-up and is loving this product!
Awesome product, easy to apply and sculpt on skin, blends very well. Shipping was super quick and came well packaged too. Looking forward to halloween this year! :)
Awesome product use it for everything would highly recommend to new and experienced users!
I absolutely love it, its so easy to use and I I love how I can do so much and create realistic skin textures
Never done this before and it was such fun! And soooo easy. Sure I'll get better at it but for a first time I'm happy.
My 12 year old is right into sfx make up and gore. She has told me this is the best scar wax she has used so far and matches her skin tone the best. Will def be buying all her stuff from your site in future.
Really fun to use
Scar wax can be great but it’s hard to learn how to work with!!
So much fun to play around with and attempt making realistic wounds! It was not nearly as easy as I anticipated and it was definitely a process (one end wouldn’t stick to my skin because it got wet then I went overboard with the fake blood..), but that’s my fault and not due to the product, which does blend seamlessly and you can shape as you like. I would definitely recommend and I’ll be trying it again, but just have a general idea what you’re doing before hand.
this worked well for building the ridge, then covered it with liquid latex
